Another three day weekend is upon us, here in the UK! Time to have a lie in, take it easy, catch up on Jobs? Alternatively use the extra time to sort out your wedding!
Here are a few ideas for making the most of this bank holiday (particularly as it is forecast to rain!):
- Look at your theme – Have you connected all aspects or are there parts that need to be embellished by your theme? Look carefully and use this time to experiment.
- Start organizing your Guest list; make sure that your friends and family are included. Check with both sets of Parents to make sure everyone who needs to be invited is on the list
- Use this time to play with a possible seating plan. Check with your Venue to find out the size of the tables being used. Start by deciding what sort of atmosphere you are hoping to achieve and then place people together. You can mix families, or keep the two sides separate for the meal. Some couples mix everyone up! Families and Friends all mixed up. This is a brave step, but it can work very well. Only you can decide if it will work for your Guests.
- If you have not chosen your Men’s outfits, now is a good time! Many Brides accompany their Men to choose their outfit to ensure that the colours and styles will fit with the Wedding dress and other Bridal party outfits. Some trust their Men to choose the outfits and give them a free choice, apart from the colour swatch!!
Whatever you decide to do this weekend – remember to have fun and make time for each other! We will be!
